About Us

Drawing on over 35 years of composites experience, Composite Fibreglass Mouldings Ltd originated from the fibreglass division of Mech-Tool Engineering Ltd - specialists in fire and blast protection.

Situated in Darlington, in the North East of England, CFM Ltd provides composite solutions to a wide range of clients.

Working with glass fibre, carbon fibre, and aramid, the company produces mouldings in polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester and phenolic resins using hand-lay, press moulding, resin injection and vacuum bag technologies.

With experience of supplying blast and fire protection to the offshore industry, CFM Ltd has expanded its capabilities producing anti-terrorist cladding panels, ballistic panelling and mouldings as well as blast relief systems for onshore applications.

Further diversification has led to the production of NoTile™; an innovative alternative to ceramic tiles with no grout and no mould growth due to the addition of silver antimicrobial technology.

The company is dedicated to producing high quality products with total traceability of raw materials and on-time deliveries.
